Ask to get answers from the HomeDecorators staff and other customers. Home Depot has taken over the search engine for homedecorators.com. They've made everything sound similar so when you put in home decorators.com you get the Home Depot home decorators section I... Home Depot has destroyed Home Decorators. No practical filters for searching, huge waiting times while trying to scroll/search, frequent error messages and pages that can't be loaded. We installed a Home Decorators Collection Grovehurst 48-inch W x 20-inch D Center Rectangle Basin Vanity Top in Engineered Stone in Sept/21.
They are at their core a South Korean Company. So, you won’t be patronizing a local company, or even an American one. Many of the inexpensive brands that import their cabinet parts from Vietnam and Mexico are US companies. Hannsem was a good option years ago but I think the US imports do a better job for a better price now.
Overview of Home Depot Kitchen Cabinets
I see you carry both brands as well as Fabuwood. I also carry Fabuwood but I am looking for another line with more custom capabilities and wood selections. Do you have any thoughts on Mantra cabinets? I didn’t see them listed in your cabinet reviews.

They said that the part should arrive by the end of the week. Friday rolls around, and no part arrives, but we get a phone call saying that it is actually 4-6 weeks for the part to arrive, and asking if we still wanted the part. Julia Hazeltine Home Decorator - STAY AWAY, asked Julia to design a small mother in law kitchen, 10 ft by 14 ft. She had a couple ideas but way out of our budget. After paying her, she would not respond to email, text, phone call. Yes, the item can be returned for a refund, but the real issue is why does Home Depot, carry such low quality products?
Home Decorators Kitchen Cabinets Reviews
In one year we have replaced 3 drawer fronts and 1 door front because they cracked at the seam. Just received the latest drawer front replacement and now a drawer slider track fell off. The kitchen place we went to no longer sells Decora and were told to deal directly with the Decora rep. $25,000 for junk! Decora Cabinetry is a sham of a company robbing the public of their hard earned money. We purchased Decora Cabinetry and were told they had a 4 -5 week lead time.
Both these brands make pretty inferior frameless cabinetry, and they aren’t even particularly inexpensive. There are other better made AND less expensive even in frameless lines. CNC and US Cabinet Depot both make well made inexpensive frameless cabinetry, however both are having supply chain issues. If you are getting frameless cabinetry I would get nothing less than 3/4″ plywood sides. When the cabinets finally arrived there were several pieces damaged.

Shiloh has a very small terribly engineered hanging rail that is used to screw all their cabinets to the wall. Brands like Kraftmaid, Decora, Bishop, Homecrest, and others that use a hanging rail system, use a 3 1/2 inch high sold wood or double ply hanging rail. Shiloh uses a 1″ or 1 1/2″ hanging rail which is too small to support the wall cabinets and also too easily bends and splits. Why is Shiloh rated only a “C” for quality ?

My second bid was painted, full front but furniture board construction. The designer said that was what was in her home and the owner’s home and that it was actually stronger. That goes against everything I’ve read, including here. I’m wondering if maybe RD Henry uses a superior board and what your thoughts are on this. I have asked her to do a bid with plywood sides as well.
You can work with a designer for about $100 to $200 per hour, though you can get a free consultation before you start the project. Kitchen Cabinet Kings does offer a free kitchen design with up to two free revisions. Pre-assembled cabinets can cost from $1,500 to $3,000 and up for a standard 10x10 kitchen depending on the quality of materials. If you hire a pro, you can add another $1,500 or more for installation. Our reviews are aggregated from multiple sources to give you the best overview about homedecorators.com.
I do not think they even prime the cabinet prior to paint. Called the store and she asked if I'd like a company representative come out to my home. Both Home Depot and the Rep came and he acknowledged all the imperfections, photographed and pleaded with me to give him one more chance to get it right.
The labels on the boxes confirmed the color was in fact cherry, mink espresso. On the cabinet doors, you can see the seams of maybe 8 to 12 planks with different grain patterns and color absorption on each. Each door looks like a hardwood floor - thin planks with different patterns. Some areas are bleached out like I commented and the black areas look like dirt.
First it was one under the sink, then more appeared. When shopping in the area for cabinets, no one mentioned anything about humidity requirements or warping. Had the cabinets installed and within weeks the doors all warped. I have cabinets in my laundry room, bathroom, and elsewhere that have not warped at all. Decora initially replaced the doors, but they warped again.
You can't find the custom upholstered items along with many other items. You can't view them in 'room' settings and there is no ambiance to looking at decorator items on a 'hardware store' type website. This was a bad idea - I will be forced to shop on Wayfair - really poor decision Home Dec/Home Dep. Purchased through Home Depot and I am extremely dissatisfied. Several cabinets arrived damaged and they refuse to replace and some cabinets colors does not match.

The cabinets aren't bad just not the high quality advertised. Thirty percent of all supplied cabinets were damaged. The level of packaging and protection is abysmal. The replacements took weeks and were damaged.
I ordered a hall tree from Home Decorators Collection. One of the pieces was mis-drilled, so I needed to contact customer support to request a replacement. No customer support number was provided with the furniture itself, so I had to go to the website and look up the number. The first time I called (the number on Home Depot's web site for HDC), I was directed to an answering machine that said they would call back within 2 hours. When I wasn't called back the next day, I called the same number back, and it had been disconnected.
Examples are Wolf, J&K, ProCraft and others. I would select Homecrest and Decora, but there are many options. One rep, one company to deal with and several brands to choose from. I have spoken with VP’s from several brands calling to ask why we rate their lines poorly, or have been thanked by others for our good reviews of their products. Sometimes a brand will change after we discuss the reason we review their product poorly or notify us when they make changes.
